The Viewpoints System

Registrations for this workshop are closed.

Viewpoints is a philosophy translated into a technique for (1) training performers; (2) building ensemble; and (3) creating movement for the stage. Viewpoints are points of awareness that a performer or creator makes use of while working.

Through these sessions, we will receive an introduction of the system and work towards building a comprehensive understanding of both the Physical (Space & Time) and Vocal Viewpoints. Beginning with exercises that explain its basic principles, we will work on a monologue from a play (or of your choice) and create a performance to better understand the system's application.
